Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the Congress Party is extremely shrewd and is misleading the people by telling them false things.
Congress is extremely shrewd and they think that public is in their pockets. They are misleading the people and making false promises. They first come and join their hands in front of you and as soon as they win, they start looting the country, said Modi, while addressing a rally in Uttarakhand. Once their government goes out I promise that I will never let anyone loot the country. You have given the Congress 60 years, give me 60 months , 60 months to this worker, and I promise to guard the country like a gatekeeper, he said.
The country has been ruined in the past ten years and the sad part is that the governments, run by mother-son duo, do not care about that. They think the people will forget everything. In fact the Home Minster asked everyone to forget about corruption and said that people will forget it like Bofors scam. But will you forget it? The decision is yours, he added. He also said that politics in the country has stooped very low.
